From Reykjavik we head north towards Hvalfjörður (Whale fjord). After passing the entire length of the fjord we will find Iceland´s 2nd tallest waterfall, Glymur. It drops over 640 feet and is truly an amazing sight from below, the side, and above. From there we head to Þingvellir National Park. At Þingvellir you´ll be able to observe from above where the American and European tectonic plates are drifting apart. Then we head for Mount Hengill where you will see some untamed geothermal pools, hot springs, and a geothermal power plant close by. On this tour, we do one landing/stop at Mt. Hengill. The rest of the tour is a quite colorful ride back to the city.
